I was talking to Davers about homebrew and had to share this gem:
Pocket Physics for the Nintendo DS
(this guy also wrote the awesome NitroTracker DS).
Originally i became aware of this concept from the MIT Whiteboard Physics demo. So how badass is it to have it in your pocket for some hyper-creative Line Rider-esque (although Line Rider is coming to the DS soon) sketching? Very!
Further reading surfaced an accelerometer card for the DS which is made just for apps like Pocket Physics.

Ok for my first post i just gotta get something offa my chest. I tend to get verbose online anyway but i do love the hit and run posts here so i’ll try to maintain that spirit in the future.
So…there’s a game mechanic loosely called “tower defense” going around and gaining pandemic proportions with dozens of indie game studios releasing their own versions. I first discovered this while doing research for LeggoMyEggo.com and i’ve been secretly addicted to many. The thing is they are quite fugly and crude implementations. Most of them are made by one person and pimped on those equally horrid flash game portals. This is what i know so far:
